MAINE STATE TROOPER AND K-9 RICO RETIRE
After 25 years of service with the Maine State Police, Gene Sutton and Rico retire and join Sue. Rico is a Dutch Shepherd who has served with Gene for the past five years. Gene is a NESPAC Instructor/Trainer, Maine Criminal Justice Academy Trainer and has been with the MSP K-9 Unit for over 23 years. Gene has trained and handled five dogs for the Maine State Police : German Shepherd - Riley, Belgian Malinois-Kruiz, Dutch Shepherd - Rico and two English Springer Spaniels (Mindy & Bonnie) who did drug and bomb detection . Gene's expertise will be added to the services we provide.

Woodlander's Midnight Storm

Thank you to Land of Oz Kennels for this promising little girl. Storm is everything we would expect from this breed.
Lots of determination and drive topped with tons of love.
Storm visited the Iron Dog Competition while Gene and I participated as judges this September in Maine.
We all had a good time and Storm impressed all with her sweet temperament and willingness to perform.

AKC English Springer Spaniels
Owning English Springers for over 35 years. Our springers are AKC show stock and we have been breeding Champions for the past 15 years. Although our dogs are mostly known to the conformation ring, we have produced service dogs, hunting dogs, scent dogs, obedience titled and couch potatoes. Our love for the breed knows no bounds.

would enjoy a few photos of Scarlet settling in to her new home and new
routine. She is growing by leaps &
bounds, and Sue the basic founda-
tions you set are proving invaluable.
Multiple snowstorms and she con-
sistantly "goes potty" in her spot
over the inches of snow. Sit, down,
and come all are good. Stay not so
much but working hard on it. Both
Michael and I are bonding with her,
though the high pitched barks at
6AM do push the boundaries of
unconditional love.:-) We love our
new addition and thank you.

Tucker hiking 6-7 miles on Caribou Mountain in Maine
Sue: I really liked that Tucker had a jump start
on the potty training and crate training. By the time I picked him up
he was sleeping through the night, which is a real blessing. He had
a solid sit command, down command and was well socialized with
other dogs. Abby
